Roll 40. Winter light
Last Sunday I took a walk with Doggie at noon. Considering the very short days we have up here this time of year noon turned into afternoon and evening during our walk.
I brought the Empire Junior, loaded with another Ultrafine Plus film (which with most certainty is rebadged Shanghai GP3). But this time there were no problems in the development, no spots, dots or numbers.
But I had some problems advancing film by reading the backing paper through the red window on the back of the camera. The red plastic has turned rather foggy, and the sharp almost horizontal sunlight didn’t help. So I got some overlapping frames.
The film holders could not keep the film flat, resulting in scans more blurred than even the cheap lens on the camera would warrant.
I liked the shot of the powerlines, Maybe I should return to it and scan it again, held down by a sheet of glass. Better some Newton rings than soft focus, right?
