Roll 227. It’s dangerous to go alone, take this dog.
The junior assistant and I went for a walk in the woods. I did this with Doggie a couple of times and we had a good time. So it was nice to share the experience with the junior assistant. Her short legs have her mostly ‘swimming’ through the undergrowth rather than walking, but she enjoyed herself immensely while I set up the tripod for a couple of careful shots with the Pentacon Six.
We walked deeper and deeper until Home was more of a general direction than an actual way back. Then she stopped suddenly and started growling. Maybe she smelled something ahead. As the roll of Shanghai GP3 in the camera was almost up we headed back, leaving whatever it was to itself.
The picture below shows the edge of a cluster of tree stumps. There must have been seven trees, growing just next to each other. But they had been cut down many years ago.
