Convention portraits

I packed the Crown Graphic and some film when I went to a gaming convention last weekend.

I didn’t game much, but I shot some portraits.

I don’t have enough film holders so I had to reload in the field using a darkbag, so the pictures are if possible even more scratched than usual.

The camera opened the door to a lot of the pictures, people thought it would be fun to be photographed on real film and showed a lot of patience.

I am not very fond of the lens, it is pretty wide so if I get too close it adds a significant amount of weight to the subjects. I’ll start looking for something a bit longer in the 200-300mm range.

No matter distorted and scratched results, I had a good time and will pack a camera next time I go to such an event as well.
