Roll 291, 292 and 293. Swap for Change
Every spring there is a charity clothes swap at the university. You hand in some old clothes, get coupons and then you can trade the coupons for clothes that other people have contributed. In the end the there will be loads and loads of clothes left over, and they are sent to people in need.
The event took over the whole main cafeteria, and spilled over into some adjoining areas. Most of the visitors are women, the men’s section can be seen on the stage on the upper right in the picture below.
I brought a tripod, but only used it for the long exposure above, the rest was shot hand held. I didn’t want to set up the tripod on the floor in case someone would trip over it.
As most other interiors it was pretty dark and I didn’t want to use a flash. So I took position by the illuminated spot between the pillars where a window let in some day light.
Fomapan 400 is comparatively cheap film, but I’m not very fond of the large grain in these pictures. I think I’ve gotten finer grain with Kodak TriX in the past.
I used the Pentacon Six. It is a fun camera to use, but perhaps a bit intimidating.
