Kendo tournament – Part 2

I’m slowly catching up with development and scanning of the rolls from the kendo tournament.

The first few pictures are from a brand new roll of Fomapan 400 film, and they all have a lengthwise scratch. I wonder if I did that or it came scratched from the factory.  I usually don’t scratch roll film in handling.

The scratch is in different places in these images due to crop, but on the negatives they are all in the exact same place.

These pictures are all the keepers from two rolls, so it was a pretty low hit rate. I attribute it to inexperience. I haven’t shot much sports at all, so I suppose the ratio will improve when I shoot more. The venue was also pretty dimly lit, it is hard to freeze the action with 400 speed film under such conditions.
